YOUNG CREATIVES SCHOOL OF ART
This specialized program taught by Master Artist, Karen Paul, offers your budding young artists the very best in quality instruction, professional art materials and engaging curriculum in a fun filled environment. Come explore a world of inspiring imagination and discovery. Classes are designed to encourage artistic expression, imagination and skill building for kids of all ages.
Students will try out a variety of painting and drawing media with each session designed to explore a new theme. Each session offers the young artist the opportunity to discover exciting and fun art processes as well as explore a variety of mediums. Through visual and verbal instruction, Karen teaches your child on how to produce beautiful, vibrant art pieces that will be cherished forever.
Your child will develop skills such as:
- Basic highlighting and shading
- Color mixing
- Painting techniques
- How to hold and put pressure on a brush to make a variety of line qualities
- Mixing paint colors
Students will also learn:
- Basic drawing

- How to make subjects appear realistic
- How to develope your own personal style and expression

Classes will be streamed via ZOOM from my art studio to the comfort of your home. Each virtual class comes with on demand replay so students never miss a class! To see a particular part of the lesson, you can simply watch the replay of the lecture / demo over again and again which helps tremendously in reinforcing learning! Also no need to worry about driving time or pick up. Perfect for the family that has a busy schedule. Classes can be viewed on a computer, tablet or phone.
A little about the Instructor…
Karen’s expertise lies in her ability to teach students of ANY level. Her skills as a Master Artist coupled with her patience and compassion are the driving force behind her successful art school. Karen is very kind, engaging and enthusiastic. She holds both a Bachelor of Art in Illustration, and a Master of Fine Art in Painting from The Academy of Art in San Francisco. In addition she is a licensed teacher in Arizona with a emphasis in Expertise in Art.
